The Virgin Islands Territorial Association of REALTORS® (VITAR) is the “Voice for Real Estate” in the Virgin Islands, serving over 350 real estate professionals who are members of their local Boards on St. Croix, St. John and St. Thomas. Not every real estate broker or agent is a REALTOR® – only those who belong to the National and Territorial Associations through membership in their local Boards. Moreover, REALTORS® must agree to abide by a stringent, enforceable Code of Ethics and to take regular refresher courses in their responsibilities to their customers and clients.

On behalf of our three local Boards, the territorial association is responsible for receiving and processing all ethics complaints against Realtors in the Virgin Islands.
